About
Honest cycling gear reviews from Switzerland.

I am a cyclist based in Luzern, Switzerland. I have spent the last three years buying, testing, and reviewing affordable cycling gear — from AliExpress carbon saddles to complete gravel bike builds — so you can make informed decisions without blowing your budget.
Everything on this site is gear I have personally tested on real rides. I occasionally receive samples from brands, but that never influences my verdict. If a product is bad, I say so — regardless of where it came from. If I recommend something, it is because I ride it. 5,460 subscribers and counting.
How I Test Gear
Most products I test are bought with my own money. I occasionally receive samples from brands, which I always disclose. Either way, every product gets the same honest treatment — including dealing with shipping times, sizing surprises, and the occasional dud.
Every product gets a minimum of 200 km before I form a verdict. Most get 500+. First impressions are noted but never the final word.
I weigh components on a kitchen scale, check spoke tension with a meter, and measure tolerances with calipers. Claimed specs are verified.
Budget gear is always compared to name-brand equivalents I have ridden. I tell you where the savings are real and where cutting cost means cutting corners.
Not everything I buy is good. When a product fails or disappoints, I say so clearly. A bad recommendation costs you money and costs me trust.
